The Fleet Meadow Residents’ Group, based in Didcot, aims to work towards local improvements, develop new services and to put on social events.
It is a lively group of men and women of all ages and walks of life who get together to talk about local issues of concern.
Some of the Group’s successes include:
- Getting the Council to trim back hedgerows to make walking on footpaths easier and safer
- Putting a new zebra crossing on Hagbourne Road
- Repairing wooden rails and communal washing lines around the estate
