The Berinsfield Residents’ Association (BRA) has been representing the residents of Berinsfield since 2000. It aims to deal with issues to improve housing and the community, and to build relationships with different groups and organisations working in Berinsfield.
Recent activities include :
- Key organisations supporting a BRA clean up day. 35 people attended and 4 skips of rubbish were filled.
- Chief Executive, Richard Peacock has done a personal walkabout with the chair of BRA to clarify issues around the village.
- Representatives from Soha have attended meetings to answer any concerns or queries.
- Recent walkabouts have highlighted repairs that needed to be done around the village. These were then carried out.
- Many residents have benefitted from the furniture recycling project.
- Helping with the Berinsfield village plan, which is a long term strategy to improve the village.
- A new fence was erected to reduce anti-social behaviour problems. No new cases have been reported since.
