Annual Competitions
Good neighbour award winners 2007

Soha runs a number of competitions that are open to all members of the Tenants' Reward Scheme.

The four competitions shown below are repeated every year.

Good Neighbour Competition
Would you like to say "thank you" to a good neighbour?  Do you have someone living near you who deserves recognition and thanks for all their good work?  Every year, we give you the chance to say "thank you" to a good neighbour.  Once a year, Hometalk will invite Soha tenants to nominate someone living near them for the chance to win a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne.

Last year, Mr Alf Walters from the Willows, Culham won ‘2007 Good Neighbour of the year’.

Why not nominate your neighbour?  Just fill in the application form in your latest edition of Hometalk or call us on 01235 515900.

The winning garden in 2007
Thank you to all the Soha residents who entered their photos of their gardens in 2008.  Due to flooding this year, the number of entries was dramatically reduced.  It was decided to have one overall winner and runner up for the whole competition.  The judges, Don Harrison and Gerald Prior, who are Soha residents, selected Miss Sellwood from Thame as the winner of the Best Individual Garden (see images above) and Mrs Tomes from Postcombe as runner-up.

Sunflower Competition

The competition runs alongside the garden competition and the winners will be announced later in this year.
