Planned Maintenance Investment in home improvements is a high priority for Soha. We have an ongoing commitment to invest in updating and improving your homes. We spend over £4 million each year on home improvements. We work closely with tenants to find out what you want. Working with tenant groups, we developed Customer Promises to make sure we deliver high standards. Go to the 'Read About Us' section of this site to find out more about the various Customer Promises. We ask our tenants, in an annual survey, what is the highest priority improvement for their home. The response so far has been kitchen improvements. We have therefore invested over £1million each year on new kitchens. Our Planned Maintenance team surveys our properties on a regular basis, to make sure the planned works we carry out are to the right properties at the right time. It is more cost effective for us to carry out planned works on an area-by-area basis, rather than on individual properties. This principle has led us to produce a 5 Year Home Improvement Plan. The plan tells you what work is planned in your home, and when it is likely to be done.
