What Tenants Want

In November 2006 the Tenant Involvement Commision published a report "What Tenants Want" The report highlights best practice examples of a wide range of housing associations and published results from a survey of 120 tenants.

Helping Build Communities in Oxfordshire

Report from a conference held on 30th June 2006

Jon Rouse, Chief Executive of the Housing Corporation, was the key note speaker at Helping Build Communities in Oxfordshire, a conference hosted by Soha Housing on 30th June 2006. Other speakers included:

• Freda Griffiths, a resident who sat on the steering group of the Community Learning and Support Partnership (CLASP) project
• Carol Hall, Soha's Director of Customer Services
• Mark Williams, Business Director of the Berinsfield Community Business (BCB)
• John Ord, Service Manager of Community Learning for Oxfordshire County Council

Soha's new website was launched at the end of the morning by Paul Rennard, Soha's Director of Finance and Resources.

In the afternoon, a residents' open day was held, with a chance to try out the Soha website.
