What is Anti-Social Behaviour?
It is behaviour which is capable of causing nuisance, annoyance or fear to people. It can be committed by a tenant, someone living with a tenant or a tenant’s visitor. Some common examples of anti-social behaviour are: playing loud music, aggressive language or behaviour, racial harassment, dumping rubbish and graffiti.
What should I do?
If safe to do so, always try and speak to the person(s) causing the problem. Politely point out to them how their behaviour is affecting you. They may not realise they are causing a problem and may welcome you talking to them. Click on the side menu Advice button to read more.
However, where this fails or is not appropriate, residents should approach Soha. You can get in touch by phone on 01235 515900, or email housing@soha.co.uk. Alternatively you can report an incident using our online form. Click on the side menu ASB Incident Form button.
Use the buttons on the side menu to see what action can be taken through Anti-Social Behaviour Contracts (ABCs) and Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs).
