If Soha needs to change your tenancy agreement.
Occasionally we may need to vary your agreement. If we change any of the terms, we must serve a 'notice of variation' and allow you time to tell us what you think about the changes.
Changing your tenancy agreement
Your tenancy is a contract between you and Soha. If you wish to change your tenancy (eg: from a joint tenancy to a tenancy in a single name or from a single name to a joint tenancy) please phone Customer Services on 01235 515900 or email housing@soha.co.uk. They will advise you whether this is possible.
Succession to a tenancy
On your death, your tenancy will normally pass to your husband, wife or partner, provided he/she lives at the property when you die.
If, on your death, you have no husband, wife or partner, the tenancy may pass to a member of your family who has lived at the property during the 12 month period before your death. However any claim to succeed must be made within one month of your death.
Where a succession has already taken place, there will be no further succession rights.
