Members' Forum meets for the first time in its new form

Scenes from the 2019 AGM and thank you event, including putting pins in a map to receive residents' views on community investment

Soha’s first elected Members’ Forum held its inaugural meeting and appointed a Chair and Vice-Chair on 16 May.

Before Soha became a mutual organisation in October 2017, residents voted for a Tenants' Forum to represent them. For the Members' Forum, however, the electorate was composed of all shareholding Members. The ballot, overseen by Electoral Reform Service, was conducted in March and the appointments confirmed at the combined AGM and Thank You event at the end of April.

The Forum for 2019-20 is made up of the following Soha residents:

Chair: Trevor Brewerton, Didcot

Vice-Chair: Vanessa Churchward, Didcot

Aurora Acone, Binfield Heath

Jennifer Britton, Henley-on-Thames

Margaret Buckell, Didcot

Bertie Doy, Didcot

Sean Godfrey, Thame

Peter Haynes, Abingdon-on-Thames

Val Kir, Didcot

Trish Langford, Kingston Bagpuize

Richard Mandunya, Cuddesdon

Gerald Prior, Tetsworth

Paul Revell, Cholsey

John Smelt, Aston Tirrold

Sue Such, Didcot

David Wilkins, Goring

Deborah Wills, Abingdon-on-Thames

Vic Breach of South Stoke and Edwina Lamond of Sonning Common were co-opted on to the Forum.

The pictures show the April AGM, which also included a Community Investment consultation and a celebration of Community Champions from around the Soha neighbourhoods.
