Composite of pictures of Community Stars voted for by Soha residents
Soha Housing’s tenants spread the love – and thanks – across Oxfordshire yesterday evening.
The cue was the AGM of the Members’ Forum at which awards were given (virtually) to those people and organisations who had made a difference in neighbourhoods over the last year.
The Community Stars were nominated by tenants across Soha’s communities. Five categories ranged from very personal thanks extended to those who tenants regarded as “best neighbours”, through to special awards for groups or individuals who had dropped everything to help in their community during lockdown.
Space allows only some of the recipients to be pictured but you can see a film of the awards here (opens in youtube.com)
