Everyone here works as one big family. They all come together and help each other.

We know that attracting and retaining quality staff is key. Our team is committed and enthusiastic about our work and we’re always looking for the right people to join us and really help make a difference.

In return we’ll invest in you through great training and management, so you’ll have the right knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide excellent customer service.

In our 2016 staff survey, 98% of our employees said they were proud to work at Soha and 99% felt they made a difference.

We have been Investors in People Gold accredited since 2012. This puts us in the top 7% of IIP accredited organisations.

How do we keep this high level of passion and engagement from our staff?

  • We actively support their learning and development
  • We offer a wide range of excellent benefits
  • We’re committed to valuing diversity and promoting equal opportunities for all

If you have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and want to make a difference, take a look at our current vacancies (at the top of this page).

We know that we need a diverse workforce, with the right skills and understanding, who can work with our residents to achieve our goals.

  • We collect and monitor recruitment data to make sure our practices are fair and reflect best practice
  • We positively encourage people from under-represented groups to apply for our jobs, so we reflect the communities where we work
  • We provide all employees with the training and development they need to fulfil their potential and to fully understand equality and diversity

We’ll make sure you have the knowledge and skills to deliver an excellent service to our residents, stakeholders and colleagues.

We’ll also encourage and support your development through effective talent management – making sure you reach your full potential.

When you join us, you’ll have:

  • a comprehensive induction
  • on the job training
  • regular 1-to-1s with your line manager
  • personal appraisals
  • support for your continuing professional development and/or professional qualifications
