Soha homes for rent
We have a range of rented homes are mainly throughout Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and West Berkshire.
If you are not already a Soha resident you need to be registered with your local council. Once this is done you can:
- See homes for rent on Homechoice in your local area.
- Bid through the choice based lettings (CBL) system on Homechoice for your preferred home and location
- See how many others are bidding.
Your local council holds the list for these homes and will notify us of which applicant has been successful. You will then receive a letter from the council telling you which housing association is your landlord.
If you are already a tenant you can bid through Homechoice or apply for a mutual exchange.
How do I bid?
You need to register with your local council. They will assess your housing need and explain the ‘points’ or ‘banding system’ they use to prioritise people. They should also be able to give you a rough idea of how long it might take before you get offered any housing.
Most of the local councils we work with advertise available homes for rent (including Soha homes and other housing association properties), through their own lettings schemes.
