Our Launchpad Team can offer anyone living in Oxfordshire (not just Soha tenants):

  • 1:1 employment support – Each applicant will receive an individual assessment of their needs to identify the right support to help them into employment. Any other needs and support required such as mental health, drugs or alcohol will be referred to specialist partner agencies. We will then work alongside these agencies to support applicants.
  • Digital Inclusion - Guidance to 'get online' to help applicants search and apply for jobs and prepare for attending interviews. 
  • Training - Individual training needs will be identified by our Digital Inclusion Officer & Employment Adviser and the referring agencies. All training commissioned will reflect the needs of clients to support them towards employment. 

We know how hard it can be getting a job when there seems like there are so many hurdles you have to go through now. But with our help we hope to make it as easy as possible for you. Meet John who we helped into employment to find out more!

A Career in Early Years

Anyone considering starting a career in Early Years.  No experience or knowledge needed, just an open mind and enthusiasm!

Soha Boardroom, Didcot office – 28th January 2019, 4th February and 11th February – 10am start 12.30pm finish.  All 3 dates will need to be attended.

Employment grants

If you're looking for work and need help with interview or work expenses, including interview outfits, equipment or specialist training, we have a limited number of grants available. Get in touch to discuss your individual situation.

References for volunteers

Around 400 Soha tenants are involved in helping us improve services. Why not join them? You can get additional free training, meet like-minded people and we'll provide you with a reference, too.

Local support and advice

We hold drop-in sessions offering tailored employment and training advice and also work with The Berin Centre in Berinsfield. Get in touch for more information about what we offer.
