Our commitment to involving you starts at the top.
We’re managed through a system of co-regulation so we’re held to account by you, our residents, and work with you to manage our business and monitor our performance.
We really do want your views on how things work (or could work better). Are you up for the challenge?
Our board
Our board includes tenant reps who are there to make the big decisions about how Soha is run. Of the current board, five members are residents. Could you become our next board member?
Tenants’ Forum
The Tenants’ Forum is your group. It represents all residents and makes sure that the board and the management team are doing their job and running Soha well.
Residents elect up to 21 forum members. Interested?
Scrutiny Group
Being part of the Scrutiny Group puts you in the driving seat. All the group’s recommendations go to senior managers and the Soha board – so you really can have an impact.
All members of the Scrutiny Group are residents. They tend to look at specific issues – checking how we’re dealing with changes that affect you and how we’re managing particular problems. Recent scrutiny reviews include welfare reform and how Soha’s dealing with anti-social behaviour.
Being part of the Scrutiny Group is an important job. Members are given training and opportunities to attend events and conferences with other scrutiny panel members.
Tenant Audit Group
If you’re a member of the Tenant Audit Group you’ll look at a specific service and report back on how well we’re doing and where improvements could be made. Recently, the Group has reported on grounds maintenance around your estates and on our repairs service. Could you be a Tenant Auditor? If so, get in touch.
If you’d like to get involved at Soha email ri@soha.co.uk, phone us or pop into the office.
