Sometimes these are one-off projects and others have a rolling programme of work.
Either way – you can share your views, learn new skills, get great experience and meet other residents.
Tenants' Times
Are you a budding writer or do you have a good idea about a story or topic that would interest other residents? Could you help with our tenants’ newspaper? We need creative writers and editorial experts who could discuss ideas for the paper and agree content and layout.
If you’d like to learn community journalism skills, we’re always looking for new recruits.
Digital champions
Soha runs free ‘get online’ training across Oxfordshire and Wiltshire and our digital champions help deliver these sessions. Everyone's welcome, from beginners to those who want to learn a specific skill. If you're interested, pop along to one of our sessions or drop us an email.
Focus groups and workshops
Usually a small group of residents get together to talk about what they think about a specific topic or service. Meetings are informal and friendly so why not try it out?
Email ri@soha.co.uk or call us.
Seniors’ group
Are you an older Soha resident? Do you care for an older relative or friend? Or perhaps you just want to have a say about our services for older residents. Whatever your interest – why not come along to our seniors’ group?
Email ri@soha.co.uk or call us.
DAAG
If you or someone you live with has a disability why not get involved in DAAG – our disability action and awareness group.
The group is run by residents for residents. You can join if you have a disability or if you’re a carer or family member of someone who’s disabled. Read more about DAAG, email ri@soha.co.uk or call us.
If you’d like to get involved at Soha email ri@soha.co.uk, phone us or pop into the office.
