Membership is open to Soha Housing's tenants who have a full tenancy, leaseholders and shared owners. Those on starter tenancies can apply after they have converted to a full tenancy.

I agree to be bound by the rules of Soha Housing and all policies and procedures published by the Board in accordance with those rules. I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, I meet the eligibility criteria to become a Member of Soha as follows:
- I am over 18 years old. - I have not previously been expelled as a Member. - I have not been removed from the Board by resolution of the Board or Members. - I am not receiving treatment for a medical condition which, in the opinion of a registered medical practitioner, would make me incapable of exercising my rights as a Member and might remain so for more than 3 months. - I have not been convicted of an indictable offence which is not, or cannot be, spent. - I have not been convicted of any other offence which, in the opinion of the Board, might bring Soha into disrepute, or is incompatible with the role of a member. - I am not a party to any legally binding debt arrangement or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) and I am not currently bankrupt or subject to a Bankruptcy Restriction Order. - I am not in breach of my tenancy agreement or lease.
Please allow up to four weeks while we process your application. We reserve the right to defer a decision on your application in the case of an on-going dispute. The deferral has no bearing on the outcome of any dispute.
Please not that your membership cannot be effective until you have paid £1. If your application unsuccessful, your £1 will be refunded to you. If it is successful, the £1 becomes the property of Soha Housing and will not be refunded if your share is ended.
