Abuse can happen to anyone, although those more likely to be at risk include children, people with disabilities, vulnerable adults and older people.
Abuse isn’t always obvious; it can be difficult to recognise and sometimes daunting to raise concerns about.
Abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional or financial. For more information see our Keeping you safe leaflet.
If you are being abused, or you think that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused, don’t ignore it, tell us.
