It’s your responsibility to get rid of your household rubbish. Rubbish collections are usually managed by your local council.
Your local council can tell you about refuse collection days, bulky waste collection options and recycling arrangements for your neighbourhood.
Fly-tipping is a breach of your tenancy.
We will investigate reports of any fly-tipping on our land and where we discover who is responsible for the fly-tipping, we will recharge you the full cost of removal and disposal and we may take legal action against you, which could lead to you losing your home, if you continue to breach your tenancy.
Where you can, please try and recycle. There are good household waste and recycling centres in your area. Recycling really is easy and it’s free! Unless you are a contractor, or you are disposing of building waste, you don’t have to pay to get rid of your waste at recycling centres.
Please only put out your bins/bags the day before your collection day and remember to take your bin in and store it in an appropriate place after it has been emptied.
Please do not leave bins or bags of rubbish in communal hallways or landings – please use the bins provided for you.
