Once you’ve found a buyer, your solicitor will need to give your buyer’s solicitor information about the lease and service charges. This will usually include the last three years’ service charge accounts, the balance of your account and whether there are any major works planned.
You should continue to pay your service charge to Soha as normal. Just prior to completion both solicitors will agree how much of the annual service charge you are both liable for and divide the charges between you.
